The Worcester Albanian Community have UNITED and formed a Committee to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of Albania's Independence and many cultural events throughout 2012 year.


The Grand celebration "The 100th Anniversary of Albania Independence" will be a Gala Dinner - Dance with live entertainment on Saturday November 10, 2012.

The kick off is the showing of the Film "The forgiveness of Blood" by the Mass Besa Society at WPI Worcester on June 9th.

More information will be coming for the following events:

• Marching in the Columbus Day Parade
  
• Symposium on various Albanian Topics
  
• Presentation of Albanian Authors
  
• Viewing of Albanian Artwork
  
• Essay Contest for Worcester Public School Student in Middle and High School
  
• Albanian Restaurant week
  
• Raising the albanian Flag City Hall
  

You are all cordially invited to attend all the events united as one in the spirit that we the Committee members, of over 16 Albanian organizations and house of worship, have come together to show the Albanian Communities around the world that this Centennial Year of Albania's Independence 1912-2012 we have united as one in Worcester, Massachusetts.
